Bangladesh Youth and Cultural Shomiti (BYCS) is a charitable organisation providing lifelong learning and community development activities for people living in Leicester helping them to take advantage of the opportunities of society today.

Where We Are
BYCS is based in Highfields, Leicester with 2 venues, one on Biddulph Street and one on Myrtle Road.
BYCS provide an array of information, advice and guidance, including National Careers Services (NCS) and Social Welfare Services. BYCS provides learning and employment services to help local residents and workers gain new skills and qualifications. The centre helps those out of work produce a CV, search and apply for jobs, develop their digital and employability skills and help find work. Our centre provides accredited qualifications from Entry 1 to GCSE’s and vocational qualifications, such as: Food Safety in Catering and Health and Safety in the Work Place.
Our venue on Myrtle Road has an onsite crèche facility, with qualified staff members, for parents to use whilst they are studying.
Our centre has staff that can speak multiple languages, such as: English, Bangla, Gujarati and Hindi/Urdu.
