YES Project

What is the YES Project?
The Youth Employability Support (YES) Project is for young people living in Leicester and Leicestershire aged 15-24 who are currently not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET), those at risk of exclusion or economically inactive. Our project aims to support those facing barriers such as lack of functional skills and qualifications, people with mental health illness, low self-esteem, disabilities, being in care, language and cultural barriers and want to progress in life, work or education.
Who are the YES Project?
The YES team is a partnership of seven youth organisations and charities, offering one-on-one support to every participant on the Project. BYCS is one of the delivery partners of YES Project along with Voluntary Action Leicestershire, Soft Touch Arts, The Prince’s Trust, Highfields Community Association, The Bridge and Leicestershire Cares.
